Ambos son s\u00e1nguches de origen neoyorquino, siendo el <em>Rachel<\/em> una variante muy posterior del <em>Reuben.<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1569\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.le-fort.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/rachel.jpg?resize=960%2C600\" alt=\"Sandwich Rachel preparado en casa\" width=\"960\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sandwich Rachel preparado en casa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"destacado\">Este sandwich es parte de nuestro curso <a title=\"Curso de s\u00e1nduches en Ecuador\" href=\"https:\/\/le-fort.org\/cursos\/sanduches-del-mundo\/\">S\u00e1nduches del Mundo<\/a>, que dictamos en Ecuador.<\/p>\n<p>Un sandwich <em>Rachel<\/em> se compone de:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rebanadas de pan integral, preferentemente pan de centeno<\/li>\n<li><em>Pastrami<\/em>, aunque hay variantes que sustituyen el pastrami por pavo<\/li>\n<li><em>Cole slaw<\/em>. El Cole slaw es una ensalada de repollo y zanahora con mayonesa.<\/li>\n<li>Queso suizo<\/li>\n<li>Salsa rusa\u00a0o similar. Se puede sustituir la salsa rusa por salsa Golf sin problema<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El s\u00e1nguche se arma poniendo pan, queso, pastrami, <em>cole slaw<\/em>, salsa golf, m\u00e1s queso y la segunda rebanada y luego se caienta en un horno con grill o en una sart\u00e9n hasta que se calienten todos los ingredientes y el queso se derrita.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1567\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.le-fort.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/rachel-entero.jpg?resize=960%2C600\" alt=\"Sandwich Rachel partido en dos\" width=\"960\" height=\"600\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sandwich Rachel partido en dos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Algunos comentarios de nuestra preparaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enmantequillar el pan puede ser una buena idea. Fue un \u00e9xito<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El <em>Rachel<\/em> es un s\u00e1nguche delicioso.<\/p>\n<h2>Variaciones<\/h2>\n<p>Como ya coment\u00e1bamos, \u00a0una variaci\u00f3n es con pavo en vez de pastrami; tambi\u00e9n se pueden utilizar salchichas, para algo m\u00e1s similar a una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.le-fort.org\/tag\/gorda\">gorda<\/a>.
