All\u00ed practic\u00f3 milagrosas curaciones por las que fue canonizado. Cierta ocasi\u00f3n en que pidi\u00f3 pan a unos campesinos v\u00e9netos, \u00e9stos lo invitaron a compartir su pobre mesa. Agradecido, les anunci\u00f3 un a\u00f1o de pesca y cosechas excelentes. La profec\u00eda se cumpli\u00f3 y otros muchos milagros. San Pantale\u00f3n fue consagrado -a la par de San Marcos- patrono de Venecia. Aquel episodio ocurri\u00f3 un 29 de julio, por tal raz\u00f3n se recuerda ese d\u00eda con una comida sencilla representada por los \u00f1oquis. El ritual que lo acompa\u00f1a de poner dinero bajo el plato simboliza el deseo de nuevas d\u00e1divas. Es costumbre dejar un billete debajo del plato para (por un pensamiento de &#8220;magia contagiosa&#8221;) poder atraer de esta forma suerte y prosperidad al comensal.<br \/>\nOtra versi\u00f3n mucho m\u00e1s extendida de la historia de por qu\u00e9 se consumen los noquis de forma tradicional el d\u00eda 29, hace referencia a que esa fecha, al ser uno de los \u00faltimos d\u00edas del mes, las personas de pocos recursos (las que cobran a principios de mes su sueldo) no ten\u00edan dinero m\u00e1s que para comer lo que estuviera hecho de las materias primas m\u00e1s baratas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Nosotros hemos abrazado dicha tradici\u00f3n con el oportunismo de la gula y hemos ido iterando, iterando, a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Estamos ahora en la etapa de los <a title=\"Receta: \u00d1oquis dorados.
