Es uno de los ingredientes del <a title=\"Receta de Garam Masala\" href=\"http:\/\/le-fort.org\/receta-de-garam-masala\/\">Garam Masala<\/a>, mezcla de especias india muy utilizada. Se utiliza en compotas de frutas. Es com\u00fan ver el jam\u00f3n acaramelado con clavos de olor. Es un ingrediente frecuente\u00a0en los\u00a0<a title=\"Chutney de Pi\u00f1a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.loquecomemos.com\/chutney-de-pina\/\"><em>chutneys<\/em><\/a>. No falta en salsas para pastas. Es parte de la mezcla de especias francesa <em>quatre \u00e9pices<\/em>.
