Es un cl\u00e1sico de origen angloindio, o m\u00e1s bien Anglo con ingredientes de India.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Este pollo al curry es una de las recetas que son recuerdo de infancia de <a href=\"https:\/\/le-fort.org\/nuestro-proyecto\/marell\/\">Marell<\/a>. Es antiguo para un plato nuevo y reciente para un plato viejo, y se populariz\u00f3 durante el reinado de Victoria, quien al parecer lo disfrutaba mucho.<\/p>\n<p>La palabra <strong>curry<\/strong> viene de <em>kari<\/em>, palabra Tamil que quiere decir &#8220;salsa&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredientes del Pollo al Curry<\/h2>\n<p>Los ingredientes para 4 personas son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 pechuga de pollo sin piel ni huesos, cortada en trozos un poco m\u00e1s grandes que un bocado<\/li>\n<li>2 cucharadas de aceite<\/li>\n<li>1 cebolla grande, en <em>brunoise<\/em> (cubitos)<\/li>\n<li>2 dientes de ajo<\/li>\n<li>1 cucharada sopera de buen <a href=\"https:\/\/le-fort.org\/diferencias-entre-la-curcuma-y-el-curry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">curry en polvo<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2 tomates picados<\/li>\n<li>250ml de caldo de pollo<\/li>\n<li>Sal y pimienta a gusto<\/li>\n<li>120ml de yogurt natural, sin endulzar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Procedimiento<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Sellar el pollo en una olla baja a fuego fuerte. Reservar el pollo<\/li>\n<li>Saltear la cebolla en el mismo aceite del pollo hasta que est\u00e9 transparente.<\/li>\n<li>Bajar el fuego y a\u00f1adir el ajo picado y cocinar 2 minutos, hasta que est\u00e9 fragante.<\/li>\n<li>A\u00f1adir el curry y revolver bien<\/li>\n<li>A\u00f1adir los tomates picados y cocinar hasta que se ablanden<\/li>\n<li>A\u00f1adir el pollo, el caldo de pollo y cocinar a fuego bajo 15 minutos, con la olla tapada<\/li>\n<li>Destapar y cocinar otros 15 minutos, hasta que se reduzca la salsa<\/li>\n<li>Sacar del fuego y a\u00f1adir el yogurt. Si ven un Madras curry por ah\u00ed, por favor adelante.<\/li>\n<li>Se puede reemplazar el yogurt por crema. As\u00ed lo hac\u00edan en casa de Marell<\/li>\n<li>Vanessa nos informa que utiliza leche evaporada en vez de yogurt.
